Note These instructions are for a Win32 platform. For the UNIX and i5/OS platforms, the procedure varies in that you must have an odbc.ini file configured properly and resident in your odbc directory. See the subsection below, entitled "Configuring your odbc.ini file for UNIX Users" and "Configuring your odbc.ini file for i5/OS Users" for details.

1. Navigate to your list of available drivers/driver pack download.

2. From the Add menu, select the correct version Data Direct Sybase Wire Protocol from the list of available drivers and click OK to open the ODBC Sybase Wire Protocol Driver Setup dialog box.

3. On the General tab, specify a data source name (DSN), network library name, network address, and database name. An example is shown below.

Note The DSN that you specify on this dialog box is the DSN that you will enter in the Data Source field of the ODBC Connection Document.
